Apple with jogurt, in a dish:
Take:
1.)
2 Apples, type/grade „Gravensteiner“:
Tasty, sweet, hard apples, with stains, etc.:
Get from farmers' market, or pick, or collect from tree, or what is lying under the tree. (The apples from November, are best, and there are still a few trees around, which carry a few apples. Some, are lying under the tree, and aren't in too bad shape...) Or, I must of picked some of the last ones, near to my home? However, I have two big shopping bags full of the best apples, you can imagine. And which should last me, throuout December.
(I had never been a great apple eater, but these ones, you just can't restist...)
Clean apples with a sponge, and cut bruise parts, or wurms, or other defaults out (with a curved small fruit knife).
If the apples looks ugly, or have stains, etc., that does not mean any loss of flavour. These apples which have a lot of imperfectness, are the most tasty ones. It shows, that they have not been sprayed with pesticides, and are biological grown. (These apples, with cut out parts, are also great for making apple pies.)
2.)
Safflower oil.
3.)
Plain, low fat jogurt (1,5 %).
4.)
Tool:
1 stainless steel cheese shovel with peeler, respectively,
cheese peeler.
How to:
1.) Peel apples in thin slices, let them drop in a soup bowl. (Perhaps add a few sices of a tangerine, respectively, one tangerine.)
2.) Drizzle/pour generously safflower oil ontop.
3.) Pour plenty of jogurt on top.
Finished! Enjoy.
I guess, this could be enough, for a breakfast, together with a pot of tea.
I had this, togeter with toasted dark bread and butter, and danish blue mold cheese, but I felt better however, just after my "apple bowl", before having the rest...
Which shows, again, that simple home made, as well as less, is better than ready made, and more...
( By the way: Same proceeding works fantastic with raw fish (Safflower oil and jogurt).)
Extra Tips:
Tea tips:
Make green tea, and put a few raisons into the cup of tea.
During, and after drinking the tea, spoon raisons out, and eat them.
They are nice and hot, soft and soggy and tasty. Same as if you would have in a hot „Apfel Studel“ pie.
Thanks, for your attention.
